What is Laser hair removal?
Laser Hair Removal is a permanent solution for excess hair that uses light energy to stunt and reduce hair growth on areas of the face or body. It is a safe procedure that weakens hair growth with each session until it eventually stops growing indefinitely. Results are usually seen within 6-8 sessions, and effects may vary depending on personal genetics, hair and skin types.

This ultramodern diode laser with the largest spot size has proven reliable and highly effective at treating large body parts or laser the entire body in quick, comfortable sessions with fast client results. The Vectus Laser provides high-volume permanent hair reduction for a wide range of skin and hair types. We prefer to use it on light to medium skin color.
The advantage of using the Gentlemax Pro laser by Candela is performing laser hair removal treatments on all skin types safely and effectively. This powerful laser device can reduce hair growth by 80% in just a few sessions. In addition, the combined Alexandrite and ND YAG technologies of the Gentlemax Pro can be used for laser hair removal on black or brown skin without any risks or discomfort. It can also work on persons with fairer skin but with notably darker parts such as the underarms or laser on the bikini area, which can’t be done with other devices.

The laser hair removal appointment can take 15 minutes to an hour depending on which regions you laser. You may return to your normal activities right after the treatment since there is no downtime.
The pain level can vary, usually very tolerable. The bikini area may be a little more sensitive and that can be resolved using topical numbing cream 30 minutes before your laser hair removal procedure. You will feel little zaps to the skin similar to an elastic band snapping against your skin.
Laser prices depend on what body parts you want to treat. For example, it’s 60$ per session for a small area and 450$ for the full body laser combo treatment. We have special offers that allow you to purchase one area, and receive all additional areas for 50% off as listed above on this page.
For effective results, you must ensure that your sessions are spaced 4-7 weeks apart, according to your esthetician’s recommendation and avoid skipping any appointments. Due to the different hair growth cycles, 6-8 treatments are recommended on average, spaced out according to your hair growth cycle.
It can take about six to 12 months to complete all the sessions required for permanent laser hair removal. After your first appointment, you will likely notice that your hair grows back sparser than it did before the treatment, but it will take a few weeks before the hair start to fall out and more sessions before they permanently stop growing.
Avoid tanning for 2 weeks prior to laser. Do not wax or tweeze your hair for six weeks prior to your appointment. Before your treatment, you must have clean skin and all body parts treated must be shaved 24 hours prior to your appointment (except for difficult to reach area, our esthetician can help). In some cases, you may experience slight irritation and swelling. It is important to help your skin heal and relax after your session. Wear loosely fitting clothes and apply a calming lotion on the skin daily. Most hair will not be removed instantly by the laser and will fall out a few days later. You can help this process by gently exfoliating your skin in the shower two days post-treatment.
