College English professor Mallory Price has a way with words but not with women. Her ex-girlfriend did a number on her self-esteem, and she hasn’t gotten her mojo back yet. Mallory has a crush on the woman who often sits beside her on her evening commute, though, and when Gwen finds herself in an awkward situation, Mallory seizes the opportunity to bail her out. Together, they hatch a plan. Mallory will help Gwen with her grant proposal in return for Gwen’s help getting back at Mallory’s ex.
